The Problem
Let's make music education more accessible for children across the GTA.

While music education is provided at most public schools, there is a lack of funding for these programs in lower-income neighbourhoods found in the GTA. Private music education can be very expensive and isn't always accessible for all families. These barriers to quality music education prevent children from building interest and partaking in music programs.
Our mission is to fill this gap of accessible music education for all children.

Who Are We?
HCPP is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organisation that provides free piano lessons to elementary school students. This program has had much success in other cities across Canada, and we plan to continue this success right here in the GTA. Stay tuned for more news!
Our Programs
How are we making high quality music education more accessible?
Private Piano Lessons
Our volunteers will be going into elementary schools each week and offering one-on-one piano lessons to the students. These lessons help foster confidence and interest in each child so that they can explore music on their own as they grow older!

Keyboard Donations
In addition to private piano lessons provided by our volunteers, we're setting up a keyboard lending program so that students can practice at home between lessons. This gives the students the chance to practice what they've learned at home!

Music Appreciation Course
In the coming weeks, we will be lauching a virtual music appreciation course. Our volunteers are currently in the process of creating lessons that are engaging and relevant to young children!
